All About Ms. Borg

All About Ms. Borg!

Amanda Borg

I love being in the school and getting to work with students of all ages. I believe in the power of the relationship that is built with every single child as well as the relationship they build with each other. I enjoy helping students instill kindness in their every day lives and work towards the ability to truly help those around them while growing academically. The Granger students fill my heart with happiness and teach me new things every single day!

I earned my Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in Psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. I then continued to the University of North Texas and received my Master's of Education in School and Mental Health Counseling. I have worked with special needs students, taught first grade at another Northwest ISD school, counseled at a private practice, and started a nonprofit organization called Just for J, Inc. that helps children with medical challenges! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, and certified as a K-12 School Counselor in the state of Texas.

Outside of school I love running, watching Aggie football, and being outside! I enjoy helping others, organizing charity events, and spending time with family and friends!
